I grew up as a college girl in a more &#039;uncommunalised&#039; and &#039;non-segregated&#039; Mangalore with friends of both genders and all religions.

I had a reunion with them last year at a Mangalore pub...and our reunion this year, I fear, may be behind closed doors and within the four walls. Feel bad for the Mangalore I knew.

At this point, it makes me cringe to admit that I&#039;m wondering if I should risk wearing jeans in Mangalore:(</description>
